Whiten teeth fast and with no damage
To have white teeth is something that all of us wish for, yet this very desirable result, usually comes hand in hand with teeth damage. Well, I’m one of those persons that doesn’t have a cover magazine smile and also doesn’t have a very strong enamel. Lucky me, huh? Yet, I know that I’m not the only one with this problem, therefore I decided to try some natural, damage free tricks that would whiten teeth and share the impressions with you.
After research I decided not to include baking soda (this sounds crazy, right?) because, especially if you have a thin enamel, it can be very damaging. Also, the thinner the enamel gets, the yellower your teeth will become (the inside of the tooth is quite yellowish by nature, so a transparent shell doesn’t help). Anyway, let’s get to business:
Those delicious fruits (that I’d love to eat daily, and I probably will after I’ve seen what they do) are also a great natural teeth whitener. It helps to eat them, but for better results just smash a few into a bowl and use them as a tooth paste.
Exact recipe: 4 medium strawberries (mashed) + 1 tsp of coconut oil. Mix until it gets creamy and the coconut oil is dissolved.
Preferably do this after you’ve already flossed and even brushed your teeth. Make sure you brush each tooth again with the strawberries mixture and after you’re done, use a bit of normal toothpaste (int he evening), or at least a mouthwash (in the morning).
I did this for quite a while (you won’t see fabulous results alter the first use), but after 1 week of sing this morning and night, people around me were capable of seeing the differences (and that means a lot!) – I succeeded to whiten teeth enough for it to be viable to acquaintances.
After I could not find strawberries anymore in the market near me, I decided to try oil pulling. Of course, I was not capable of doing it (though even my friend said it delivers good results), but I kept brushing my teeth from time to time with coconut oil. I could still see improvements, but it went a bit slower, and I’d rather recommend this for keeping your teeth white once you’ve achieved that. Anyway, it’s still a nice and no damage trick that’s worth trying.
